During our Europe Trip, spring break 2017, my wife and I have seen and done a lot of things. From the sassy flare of Barcelona to the historic atmosphere of Venice, we took many pictures and created many memories. Words can barely describe our experience there, I suggest everyone go out and visit Europe. You won't be disappointed by the food, the culture, and even the buildings are all impressive.
Of all the places we visited throughout Europe, there is one place I am sure to mention often as my answer to “What was my favorite place that I visited?” That place is dreaming Burano Island. A 45 minute water bus ride from Venice, Italy, this place has become my dream home away from home.
As we got closer to arriving, I couldn't help but get really excited as if ready to eat a moist chocolate cake. The colors that surround this island are amazing! The island is accompanied by still canals and a sense of peace as there are no cars to disrupt such a calm spirit that is instilled here. The main attraction are definitely the houses. Simple, yet magnificent. Every house is a different solid color. Every color from the rainbow can be seen there. Burano's leaning bell tower is also a famous tourist attraction, located right behind the Church of St. Martin Bishop, the tower is inclined 1.83m from its axis. The whole island is truly a beautiful place and a feast for your eyes! Insomuch that you can't help but take pictures with every house you see.
I stumbled upon Burano during our preparations prior to our trip and instantly fell in love with what I saw. I was determined that we needed to go and visit! If you love color like I do and want to spend a whole day finding the best spots to take pictures, I’m telling you that Burano is the place to be! A suggestion for those who plan to visit, ride the water bus out to Murano, just other cute little island, very famous for the glass art work.
